Welcome to Alimari Farms

Alimari Farms is  dedicated to raising a few quality foals each year to continue and promote in the show arena and raising a legacy of versatile, quiet minded, athletic American Paint  & Pinto Horses. Located in Marion, Ohio.

It is our Mission to produce quality performance bred horses with unforgettable quiet temperaments, balance, structural correctness and a strong willingness to work and win in the show arena and show true versatility whether as family horses, ranch horses or performance horses.

Our young horses continue through our raising program to begin schooling in a combination of natural horsemanship, approach and retreat and evaluation of the individual horses' athletic potentials and abilities...No horse through our program is forced to perform in a discipline in which they can not physically or mentally handle...Through evaluating each and every equine athlete in the program through noting their conformation, bloodlines, temperament and movement, and how each horse responds to every approach in their training, we finish them in the discipline(s) they are best suited for and will enjoy doing. A horse that is unhappy in his work will not perform at his best.

We believe how we raise our horses is just as important as selecting horses with great minds, athletic ability and willingness to please. Great care goes into providing our horses with as much stimulation as we can allow into each day.  Our babies grow up with a strong natural social interaction. They are handled daily from birth and by weaning have been taught all the basics of leading, tying, cross tying, desensitizing and basic showmanship. They are supplemented with quality Timothy/Alfalfa Hay and Grow N Win & Triple Crown Feed all year round. Mares in late term are supplemented additionally with vitamin E & Selenium.

In 2007, this  breeding & training operation was established, originally in Upstate New York. She enjoyed working with youth students, offering beginner to advanced Western & English riding lessons throughout the years.  Alicia traveled between NY, PA, OH and SC to offer farm calls and address problem horses and start young horses under saddle until 2018. In 2011, she married Dustin Kellogg and in 2019 transitioned from the farm operating in NY to primarily operating in Central Ohio.

She has been teaching horsemanship and riding to all ages of riders interested in learning the Equestrian sport for the past 17 years.
